Are my pants on today?

I've gotten alot of pressure to widen the scope of this blog. I'm conflicted. The argument for diversifying is pretty well summed up by this email.

"...and it slowly bled to death. You could also blog about your family, activities, shirts, medication, cars, books, botany, soil erosion, soil enrichment, soil retail and wholsale, marketing, art, trucks, woodworking, photography, formatting, sewing, motorcycles, and music. The world waits.

Those ARE all things, Simon, but does my time grow on a tree?

Maybe I'll blog about philosophy as well. We all have one!

Comments:
I've really enjoyed your blog over the years. It has made me rethink my comittment to organized religion and "time".

If you changed your blogging content, would I have to chang my life-goals as well?

You see, these are the things I worry about on a minutely basis.

The answer, in short, is maybe. I know my blog affects bunches of people, but they also have something called freewill, at least to a certain extent. Therefore, anything I blog should be viewed as a suggestion, unless I actually state something as fact, in which case it will be one, unless I'm wrong, in which case I will correct myself, which is one of the beauties of blogging, in which case I will note the correction and make it conspicuous, in which case you don't have to take what I say as fact after all, in which case you should simply view it as a suggestion, so that you don't have to change your life-view at all, and you can even post a comment if you disagree with me, in which case I may post a comment disagreeing with you and we can have what, in internet lingo, is called a deb@te, which would be lots of fun, but I really hope it would be a civil debate because I don't allow flaming (and here I'm referring to baiting someone to anger, not a sexual posture which I don't really understand but I think it's really funny when Homer Simpson of the Simpsons does it and I don't really have a problem with it, but maybe I'll blog about that later), but if the deb@te gets heated, that flaming thing could happen, in which case I'd have to moderate the comments.
